This is a sequel to Dead Is A State of Mind, read my Inspection of Dead Is A State of Mind!
Plot Sketch: Daisy heads over to work and she sees what she thinks is her dad getting jelly donuts out of the dumpster. Is it him? Or is it a doppelganger? Someone's creating doppelgangers. Someone is also creating new werewolves, the sisters three know this because they've been attacked by a pack and it's definitely not a full-moon. Thank goodness for their psychic abilities. Twists and turns and lots of fun through this short ride in Nightshade, California, with a super-happy ending that made me squeal.
Verdict: I Heart It!! Marlene Perez is my new conciseness hero. She packs a lot of story into a small amount of pages and that's something that I value. I felt that the characters were sufficiently developed and that the story didn't lack in plot. Great quick fun read.

Nope. I didn't even pause to take notes.

Mmmmm, no.

Still wish there was more of a description for the different types of paranormal characters in the story. I really would have liked to have learned more about the banshees especially.
